This happened once already almost exactly two years ago. I had a blog stalker and wanted to know who it was. Turned out it was one of Jon's friends. So, it's happening again.

I have a thing that tells me how people end up on this blog. It includes what people have searched on Google or whatever that brought them here. This is my top ten search results for the past 90 days.
Why do so many people care about what other people don't like? (FYI: The reason my blog comes up on this search is because of this page.)

I thought this would be a funny thing to start posting. It's highly entertaining each day to look at my Get Clicky account to see all about who has come to my page. My favorite thing to see, though, is what people have searched for on Google to get here. They are funny for one of several reasons.
1) Why on earth is someone searching for that?
2) What does that search even mean?
3) I know exactly what that took them to on here and that's funny.

Some weird lapse in time and space happened tonight. Between 10:18 and 10:24pm I had a huge inflow of visitors (who almost all stayed for less than 5 seconds, except for good ol' The Netherlands who stuck around for 9 minutes!) from (listed in order of visitation, including repeats)... Germany, Guatemala, New York, Colorado, USA, Michigan, Australia, Florida, Florida, Massachussets, North Carolina, Michigan, USA, Pennsylvania, California, Tennessee, Argentina, Tennessee, Chile, Texas, Massachussets, California, USA, Alabama, The Netherlands, Mexico, Mexico, Canada, Canada, Louisiana, California, Canada, Mexico, Texas, Australia, Nebraska, Columbia, Texas, Dominican Republic, Madagascar, and Pennsylvania. All in 6 minutes. They all came from the Blogger website somewhere. That's just really really weird. Maybe my blog was listed on the front page for a few minutes or something.

Today...
I tried one of those Double Berry Smoothies at Sonic. Excellent. Raspberry + Strawberry + Yogurt = Delish.

The boys' Wii that their parents gave them for Christmas came in today. We picked it up after school and I set it up when we got to the house. We made our Miis and D and I started to play. He beat me. In both bowling and golf. He DESTROYED me in golf and just barely beat me in bowling. He's 4.

I went to play Bunko tonight with some girls from Sunday School. My partner and I won the first round and then I didn't win for the next 11 rounds. So I was a perpetual loser today. However, this loss resulted in the Loser Prize of a $10 Target gift card. Better than the prize of Shame in the Wii loss to a four year old.

I have a job for next year (as in August)! I will be Homeschooling D for his Kindergarten year of school. I'm very excited. They also said that if I happen to have a baby any time in that time period, I can just bring it with me to their house. Yay! My job is to now find out about homeschooling organizations in Little Rock.

I really want to know what chemical reaction is happening when every winter my Fightin' Texas Aggie Ring (from college) turns my hand black. It's solid gold and it only happens in cold weather. So weird and stupid.And finally... I surpassed 1,000 visitors on my blog since November 30th. Yes!

Good grief. Advice: If you want a bunch of people to visit your blog in one day, write about a bunch of movies and include a bunch of actors' names. I usually have about 15-20 people visit per day. Today I had 42. 26 of those 42 people clicked on something that took them directly to my movie post from yesterday. The google search terms that brought people to my page were: Gerard Butler (3 people), Helen Mirren (2 people), movies blogspot, James Marsden, Melora Hardin, and Hilary Swank. These all baffle me, but especially the Gerard Butler one with three people. I googled him and went through all 87 pages of results and didn't even see my page. I have no idea how that happened. The coolest thing though is where these people are coming from. That little map over on the left side of the page somehow catches SOME of the people who come on here, but another thing I uses catches everyone. This was the map for today:

Absolutely crazy! Now granted most of them only stayed on the page for less than a minute because my movie review wasn't exactly what they wanted to read, it's still fun to see that all those people came to my page today.
FYI: I'm completely addicted to checking these pages about my blog visitors. I check them multiple times each day. It lists search terms used to find my page, where they clicked to get to my page, pages within the blog visited, countries the people come from, etc. It's super fun. The one I've using for a while is BlogPatrol but I recently added GetClicky and it's the one with the google maps like I used above. I can't stop!
