Three Month Pictures

As I mentioned the other day, I decided to take Jake's three month pictures myself. It was very hot on Saturday so I didn't get very many good pictures. It was too bright and he didn't want to keep his eyes open. Here are the other good ones I got (other than the two I posted last time.)

This is what he does all of the time now. Eat his hand and grab things.
After this I quit and came back Sunday when it was slightly cooler and cloudy.

"Really? You expect me to cooperate in this heat?"

Once he gave me the George W. Bush look, we headed inside for the rest of the pictures.
I changed him into a cute baseball get-up for the next set.

This one was cute in black and white and color. I like the two unique faces he made.

"Are we done yet?"

These next three are my favorites. I've talked about the website ArtsCow before. I got an e-mail today from them saying I could get as many 4x4 canvas prints as I wanted for $4 each! So I picked these three pictures and worked with them a little to get them to go well together. I'm excited to see them. In a month. When they show up. From Hong Kong.

A Year Ago Yesterday

I meant to post this yesterday. Obviously. But I didn't. So here it is today. A year ago yesterday we found out a baby was on its way! After work I made a very quick run to Barnes and Noble to get Jon a daddy book to tell him, to the mall to get a cookie cake to tell his family at dinner that night (which ended up being the next night), had my tire explode on the freeway, and headed home to break the news.

And look what we have now. Pretty much the greatest baby ever born. These were from my first attempt at taking Jake's three month pictures (a few weeks late) yesterday. It was way too hot and bright, so he wasn't having it. It's SLIGHTLY cooler today and cloudy, so we're going to try again in a little while. Wish me luck!

An Evening of Cuteness

Happy Father's Day!

Yay! It's Jon's first Father's Day! He had to work today, though, so we enjoyed the first part of the day by sporting the cutest baby sweater vest ever created. Yes, I know it was 100 degrees today. What of it?

Chilling in the bouncer this morning while Mom got ready.

After church we went over to Mimi and Pop's house for lunch. Then Jake took the cutest picture ever.

Entire cute get-up.

Happy Father's Day, Pop!

Working on the necksercises.

This is what happens when his neck gets tired.

Cutie patootie.

"If I pretend I'm asleep, maybe she'll stop taking pictures."

Then when Daddy got home, we gave him his presents.

Hanging out with Daddy.

Daddy likes to make me talk.

I love Daddy!

And Daddy loves me!
