Christmas Part One

Grab a drink, find a comfy chair, and settle in. This is going to be a long one. Yesterday we celebrated Christmas Part One with Jon's family.

Sunday morning Jake dressed up for church.

Cute little man.

Sunday afternoon we headed to Mimi
and Pop's for the celebration.
Caroline had fun hair from her car ride.

First we took a cousin picture. Jake didn't know what to think.

Then Jake got to open his stocking from Santa Mimi.
"Look Mama! It has my name on it!"

He got a Jacob cup and two books about Jake the rabbit!

He sported the Cowboys Santa hat for a while.

Go Cowboys!

Then we opened presents.

Mmmmm... wrapping paper!

A new toy!

Yay! Wrapping paper!

Jake and his loot: Stacking blocks, a leap frog learning dog, a leap frog letter caterpillar, two Jake books, a Jacob cup, a My First Christmas teddy bear, and a Dallas Cowboys bib and onesie, especially from Pop.

Then we headed out to the Capitol
to see the lights and decorations.

It's hard to get a clear picture at night.

He loved the fake trees inside.

Posing with Alyssa Kate.

Goofy Guy

The only picture that had both him and the
Capitol clearly, he's making a silly face. Oh well.

We're heading to Fort Worth in the morning for a week.
Christmas Part Two coming up later!
